Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a contract between you and June ("June", "we", "us", or "our"), the provider of the June mobile application and its related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using June, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

If you violate any of these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice.

Definitions and key terms

• Company: when these Terms mention "Company," "we," "us," or "our," it refers to June, based in Turkey.
• Service: the June mobile application and any backend functionality it relies on (accounts, storage, notifications, AI-generated suggestions, and subscriptions).
• User Content: any goal, task, reflection, feedback, or image you create, upload, or submit within the Service.
• Subscription: a paid, auto-renewing plan purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play that unlocks premium features of the Service.
• You: the individual who has registered an account to use the Service.

Eligibility

June is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under the age of 13. By using June, you represent that you meet this age requirement and, where required by the law of your country, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Description of Service

June helps you set goals, plan actions, track progress, and reflect on your growth. Certain features generate suggested plans, action steps, or reflections using an AI model. June is a self-improvement and productivity tool — it is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, financial, or legal advice, and you should not rely on it as such. If you are experiencing a crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services in your area.

Your Account

To use June, you must create an account with an email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

Subscriptions, Free Trials & Billing

Some features of June require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through your Apple App Store or Google Play account, not directly by June.

• Auto-renewal: subscriptions automatically renew for the same duration and at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Free trials: if a free trial is offered, you will be charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before it expires.
• Cancellation: you can cancel or manage your subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting the June app does not cancel your subscription.
• Refunds: all payments are processed by Apple or Google, and refund requests are handled under their respective refund policies — June does not process payments or issue refunds directly.
• Price changes: we may change subscription prices from time to time; any change will apply from your next renewal and, where required, we (or the app store) will notify you in advance.

AI-Generated Content

Some features send the goal or task text you provide to a third-party AI model (Anthropic's Claude) to generate a suggested plan, action steps, or reflection. This content is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific situation. You are solely responsible for deciding whether and how to act on any AI-generated suggestion, and June is not liable for outcomes resulting from your reliance on it.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the goals, tasks, reflections, images, and other content you create in June ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant June a limited license to store, process, and display it back to you solely for the purpose of operating the Service (for example, storing it in our database or sending it to our AI provider to generate a suggestion you requested). We do not use your User Content to train AI models or share it for marketing purposes.

Feedback you submit through the app (ratings, comments, or suggestions about June itself) may be used by us to improve the Service, without any obligation to compensate you.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to, and will not permit others to:

• License, sell, rent, lease, or commercially exploit the Service or make it available to any third party.
• Modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of any part of the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to submit content that is abusive, harassing, or infringes another person's rights.
• Remove or obscure any proprietary notice on the Service.

Third-Party Services

June relies on third-party service providers to operate, including Supabase (hosting and database), Google/Firebase (analytics, crash reporting, and optional Google Calendar integration), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Anthropic (AI-generated suggestions). These providers have their own terms and privacy practices, and June is not responsible for their availability or performance. Our Privacy Policy explains how these providers are used in more detail.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its content, features, and functionality (excluding your own User Content) are owned by June and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

Term and Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use June. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using June, or permanently delete your account and data, at any time from Settings. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any AI-generated suggestion will be accurate or suitable for your needs. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, June's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose. June will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold June harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Before filing a claim against June, you agree to first contact us at the email below and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or legal requirements. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated through the app where required. Continued use of June after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.

Additional Terms for Apple App Store Users

If you downloaded June from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply and take precedence over any conflicting term above:

• This license is limited to a non-transferable license to use June on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by Apple's Usage Rules.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for June.
• In the event of any failure of June to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for June to you; Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to June.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims from you or a third party relating to June, including product liability claims, claims that June fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising from consumer protection or similar legislation.
• Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of any third-party claim that June or your possession/use of it infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or listed on any U.S. Government restricted-party list, and that you are not on any such list.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Entire Agreement and Severability

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and June regarding your use of the Service. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision will not be considered a waiver of that provision.
